Yesterday, after I had some down time, I sat down and watched an interview of Perry Noble from Newspring Church. There were some great questions and comments about leadership in the church. I had missed the live interview, but Tony Morgan has it here. For the interview they used Mogulus. It is a browser based broadcast platfom and pretty sweet I might add. Overall, I am impressed with how Newspring has marketed the way they do ministry and have embraced technology.  It is very attractive and allowed me to understand what Perry Noble is about. Watching him answer questions in a live setting was like meeting him face to face. Perry gave great answers backed by God’s word with a twist of southern slang. It was like I had a chance to get to know him better and it was so much different than hearing him speak a Sunday message from a podcast. The interview is something you would expect from a Foutune 500 company, not a church. So kudos to them for being out of the box.  If you are in ministry or just volunteer at your church you should watch for that purpose alone. This live event has got me thinking of how I can embrace so many possibilites. With technology the sky is the limit for the church.
